Currency conversion fee
Applied when a purchase or ATM withdrawal is conducted in a currency not loaded or where the loaded currency balance is insufficient and funds are automatically converted from another currency to complete the transaction.
Mastercard rate plus 2.95% of the transaction value. The Mastercard rate is the exchange rate determined by Mastercard to be their wholesale rate or the government mandated rate in effect in the day the transaction is processed by Mastercard.

Currency to Currency Transfer
Applies when you move funds from one currency to another or when you request a Cash Out and you have funds in a foreign currency
At the then applicable retail foreign exchange rate as determined by Mastercard.1
Bank Transfer Reload (where the default currency is not NZD, and the cardholder completes a Bank Transfer to pay funds onto their card without booking an Online Reload via the website) At the then applicable retail foreign exchange rate as determined by Mastercard.1
